NEW BENCHMARKS FOR INDUSTRIAL ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES IN THE CURRENT CONDITIONS WERE DISCUSSED BY LEADING INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS ON THE ONLINE PLATFORM OF THE VIC GROUP OF COMPANIES

VIC group of companies supported by the national Union of milk producers held an international online forum "Animal health and feeding (dairy and meat cattle breeding)".

During the forum, key experts and practitioners in the field of animal health and herd management, representatives of the largest livestock complexes in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, industry unions and associations, leading manufacturers of premixes, equipment for agricultural enterprises and veterinary drugs discussed current global trends in the development of the livestock industry.

A busy business agenda of the event addressed the topic of New benchmarks for industrial animal husbandry and development strategies in the current conditions". Leading Russian and foreign experts analyzed the integrated approach concept in the livestock breeding complex, the current trends of immunization in animal husbandry, practical experience in successful herd reproduction in animal industry, veterinary-technological aspects of improving the milk quality and other revelant issues. In particular, such important topics as the feed production economics, sampling rules and methods for laboratory diagnostics, seasonal planning of antiparasitic measures were considered. Also symptoms, diagnostics and prevention of infectious nodular dermatitis and hoof diseases, the role of phytobiotics in cattle feeding and realization of the dairy cattle potential were covered.

 The participants were very interested in the presentations of Artem Belov, the CEO of National Union of milk producers; Josef Zaits (Bioveta, Czech Republic), DVM, specialist in animal reproduction; Luc Durel (France), DVM, expert in mastitis treatment, food pathogens control, cattle ectoparasites; Alexander Sidorchuk, DVM, Professor of Moscow Sate Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after K. I. Scriabin; Olesya Smirnova, Executive Director of the Holstein cattle producers Association, and other key speakers of the forum.
